Le Cafe Doutor, Ginza
10-31-08Yeah, yeah, as cliched as they come. As expensive as coffee and cake could possibly come. But NOTHING beats this no-hassle place to kick back and soak in the energetic vibe in Ginza, checking out the shopping masses from the 2nd floor. Hubby and/or I always manage to drop by here and the Shibuya Starbucks as often as we can whenever we're in town.
They're really warming up to Halloween. I saw a bunch of costumes, some stores were decorated, and pumpkin stuff was offered. This pumpkin cheesecake was delish, topped with the hot cocoa. And cigarette smoke.
There's some serious smokers in Tokyo, but the chick sitting next to me blew them all out of the water. She managed to chain-smoke about 7 ciggies in a half-hour, covering our area in smoke. Lung cancer, anyone?
