Place all decked out for Xmas, pretty!
A friend suggested meeting here, and she was on the money. Just walking through the door, you're hit with heady bread and gingerbread house smells. I drooled all over the pastry case, trying to decide what to get for dessert. Settled on tiramisu and a lemon bar, both very good. The latte was fine.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. First I grabbed a french dip, friend got the waldorf salad. Star and a half off for really dry, tough meat. Would not get it again. The salad looked really good - fresh, crisp, just-cut apples, not too much dressing.
Service was pleasant and efficient. Will definitely return to try other menu items.
