Rest of Thanksgiving Wknd
* Red Robin. Gahhhh....the best burgers. Nothing beats a Banzai, steak fries and a vanilla malt.
* Nihon. Ok place, super loud but good lounge music, ok sushi rolls and this odd oyster stew that tasted ok but super salted. The famed Lychee cocktail - meh. Supposed to be some premier whiskey bar, so was going to order one after dinner, but good god, such freaking long waits between things I gave it up. Although it was really neat to read all the offerings, almost drooled. Oldest ones there by at least a decade, but were treated very nicely.
* Chipotle. Finally got to see what all the fuss was about, especially after I missed out on this stock. Ok, good ingredients, big burritos, but nothing special, and La Salsa has a bigger menu selection - esp. fish tacos with CABBAGE. Still, I'll be back for more lunches.
* Shalizaar. First time at the new place on ECR since they moved from 25th. Man, what a change! Seriously more upscale than the old place, but the food is still the same scrumptious yummy food. Enjoyed a leisurely (expensive) lunch with good friends.
Mon dieu, en avant les calories! HOW much do I need to work out to get rid of all that?! Whatever, it was worth it. Delicious weekend.
