Taking the kids out on a SF tour, and planned to take them somewhere nice, i.e. NOT in touristy Pier 39, but they were starving, so we had to eat here. First tried Bubba Gump Shrimp, but OMG the wait was insane! Then we stumbled across this one. Glad we did. The chowder was actually good, fresh clams in it and everything. The kids were very pleased, they loved it. Funnily, we ordered all the offered sizes of soup: sourdough bowl, bowl, and just a cup for me since I'd eaten earlier and wasn't hungry. Service was ok, can get nice seats with a nice view. The prices were actually reasonable.
